Heading into the final week of the 2017/18 season, Leicester City Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has published his customary address to the Club’s supporters…

As the season moves into its final week, I wanted to take this opportunity to address our fans directly and say thank you for your amazing support throughout the 2017/18 season.

As I write this, we still have three important Premier League matches to play, games in which I want us to stand together, proudly – players, staff and supporters – and fight to cross the finishing line in the strongest way possible. At the heart of our Football Club is a spirit and determination to fight for everything – for points, for league positions and for each other. No matter what is at stake, Foxes never quit.

We, as a Club, owe it to you, our fans, to respond positively to the disappointment of last weekend’s result. The best way to achieve this is to come together, to support our team, support our manager and to create the kind of atmosphere that has made King Power Stadium our fortress. Our manager Claude, our coaching staff and the players have my full support, and I would ask you to also get behind them this afternoon, and let your voices be heard.

Our players can inspire our fans with their skill, with their creativity and with their tireless endeavour. Our fans can return the inspiration to our team with their passion, their energy and their positivity. Together, we can make the difference.

In the eight seasons since we took ownership of Leicester City, we have created some incredible memories on our journey from the Championship, to the top flight, to the Premier League title and into the UEFA Champions League – memories we will all treasure for the rest of our lives. Evolution is crucial to keeping our Club moving forward, to remaining an established, successful, competitive force in the Premier League, to continuing to create such memories for generations to come. In forging a legacy for our achievements, we must embrace evolution, while retaining the unique spirit of togetherness that defines this Club.

Much of our success has been built on the closeness and the familiarity that spirit has created between supporters, players and staff. Retaining it must be our biggest priority as we continue to grow and evolve – particularly in the development of our proposed new training ground at Seagrave and the potential expansion of King Power Stadium. Both are exciting strides forward for Leicester City in the coming years, but we must never allow the family essence of our Club to be lost. Our ambition is to continue to grow and develop, to continue to reach for success, together.

We aim to make projects such as our training ground and stadium developments sources of pride for the Leicester community, whose support continues to underpin everything we aspire for. It is impossible to repay the people of this city for the support they have given us in the last eight years, but striving to give back, to improve lives and to support worthy causes in the region through the LCFC Foxes Foundation remains an integral part of our vision.

The final straight of the season is upon us. Thank you once again for your magnificent support. I know you will make it felt in these final three games.

Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha
Chairman

Generic drivel.

It always will be whatever position we're in. It's just more noticeable when we're crap.

....I suspect the owners are buying time.

The potential candidates are at present currently employed and will not be available for discussion until the end of the season.

The flip side of this could be a proxy war by the owners with the players, Puel is as much "cannon fodder" and should he succeed a win for the owners or at the very least the extrication of all the "bad eggs" so as not to repeat this ongoing saga.

‘Potential expansion’ - saw this mentioned in another thread. Only ‘potential’ now for a stadium expansion??

It will happen as long as they don' look at foxes talk and see what a load of ungrateful b#####ds some city fans are if they do look oh dear.

Yeah!  They come over here, clear our debts, invest in our local charities, buy back our ground, win us the league, invest in our facilities, seek to extend our ground, buy us a state of

the art training facility, give us free beer and shirts and doughnuts - and then give us all this guff and expect us to think they’re sincere??? Phwwgh

They didn't win us the league.

A price decrease in season tickets would be nice rather than free beer and doughnuts to while I'm on it.

I think hinting at some changing in the playing side to come by mentioning evolution a couple of times.  Maybe they have decided its no coincidence this lot are downing tools for a third time. I hope they and the manager got a rollocking of all rollockings last weekend and we draw a line under that rubbish last weekend.
