Ulloa.

Those goals against Swansea, Norwich and West Ham were monumental.

And contribution was ?

He was great at holding the ball in the corners during stoppage time when we were clinging on in those 1 nils (with Claudio waving his arms around :D).

That said, Leo was the best at that.

Heady days. Time of our lives.

oh god, please dont let that ' The Immortals title stick' it makes me grind my teeth out of embarrasment. :ermm:

Too late, The Immortals has already stuck.

Completely appropriate in my opinion.

I think of moments from that season everytime I climb the stairs in the West Stand. Our generation were so privileged to have witnessed it.

Ulloa.

Scored loads of big goals for us, not just that year but the year before. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves to be honest.

How about this for a slightly offbeat vote for best of the rest.....?

Richie De Laet. That goal against Villa started the fight back from us being 0-2 down. (Plus it helped get Captain Bellend the sack shortly after!)

Seriously though...has to be Ulloa. Stepped up when needed and his defensive work when coming on as sub is often overlooked.

The Swansea game is probably my favourite game of all time. The feeling in the stands was nothing id ever felt before, pure nerves.. fully packed but a strange quiet around the place pre-match. We had that feeling that we could 'do a Liverpool' and slip at the final hurdle. Our star striker banned  after a game that felt like the officials were against us, a feeling the media would love for us to trip up and the stage was set for a us to prove to them that we were just a 3 man team. Then Leo steps up, with a performance that he always seemed to come up with when we really needed it.... He may not be everyone's immortal but I know that memory is firmly cemented in my head.
