Like Shaw has no luck does he.

His goal against us but I get your point. Hopefully all of that was just precautionary. Looked a bad one though

tbf i have one friend who doesn’t drink so was obviously sober throughout the world cup and he said we were rubbish for basically the whole tournament, too. everyone else was just too aled in to notice or care.

lol to be honest there's a degree of truth in it. We beat everyone we were expected to and lost to everyone we were expected to. Undoubted improvement from the last few tournaments but we're nowhere near a top side, not even close and we shouldn't place unrealistic expectations on the team.

We aren't as good as this new Spanish team. The old Spanish team (that was also better than us) got knocked out by Russia. I think we really have to get over the fact that we fluked our way to the semis and work a bit harder..

Oh yeah, I just meant career wise. Just as it looks to taking off he breaks his leg. Just as he starting to get back to that level again and get a England recall, this happens.

Yeah really unfortunate. Hopefully just a minor setback

This is a bit of a reality check.

The reality check should have been watching us at the would cup and seeing we created **** all, only scored from penalties and corners and lost to the only half decent teams we played. Surely anyone's whos ever watched football knew that wasn't a sustainable way of playing at the world cup and we weren't actually that good at all.

tbf getting relegated to the same division of this tournament as northern ireland and wales should give everyone a kick in the right direction

So true. I got caught up in World Cup fever but not for one minute did I rate us. Lack of creativity as per usual and sticking with players despite poor form and fatigue. We’re just not very good
