Just seen the N. Ireland v Bosnia match which highlights the fact that cabbie Evans  is not an adequate replacement for Morgan. We need to get our new Freiburg signing up to speed as soon as possible

Relax, we're only 4 games into the season and have only conceded 5 goals in 3 of those games; 4 in 2 of which were against top opposition in which we played very well anyway. These things take time. Remember how leaky our defence was in our title-winning season? Claudio promised a pizza for a clean sheet and that didn't come till the middle of October. We've got a lot of time on our hands to bed Soyuncu into Claude's philosophy and having a young player like him and the experience of Evans is great competition for Wes, who I think still has a lot of good performances in him.

Personally I think Allan Evans and Martin Keown with Matt Mills as back-up is enough to get through the season.

Evans has had a disappointing start to his Leicester career but he is in his prime as a centre half at 30 and he's proven quality. There's a reason why he had a £30m price tag put on his head and being linked to Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal in the last 12-18 months.
