This topic is not intended as a dig at the club just presenting facts, I think ours compare favourably with the rest of the PL 'big' and 'medium' sized clubs and as a concession holder I have no axe to grind re my ST price but I do think the match day prices are relatively pretty expensive.

Southampton's cheapest season tickets work out at £30/game, assuming that the ST includes league games only. Considering that - last season at least - they've been pushing the 20sPlenty initiative for away fans with their sponsor subsidising away tickets, the ST price seems ridiculous.

LCFC works out at £20.70/game, in comparison. Nearly £47 for Arsenal fans, and £42 for Spurs despite not actually having a stadium to play in for half the year!.

I wonder what the average adult ST prices are and how that compares...

Just shows the disparity between Premier League football and the rest of Europe when Watford, Palace, Newcastle, Wolves, Burnley are above PSG, Barca, Real, Bayern and Dortmund etc

18 of the 20 its shameful really considering we also get the most TV money by far as well.

I went to see Bayern vs Berlin last season, a top 6 clash in the Bundesliga for 18 Euro's!! That wasn't even the cheapest seat

Makes Burnley look even more ridiculous for playing the poverty outfit all the time.

I agree that we compare favourably with the rest of the league. That list is a damning indictment on the PL if nothing else.

It's supply and demand.

People continue to go and pay it so the prices will hold.

If they charged premier league prices in other countries then attendances would drop - no doubt about it.

Matchday tickets in the lower leagues and semi professional football are pretty scandalous too on the same scale, I know they probably need the money more but I think what we currently pay is about fair.

Newcastle is the one that really gets on my tits on that list. A 52,000 seater stadium with £570 season tickets and they get 0 reward for their time and money. I don't particularly care for the club but have to sympathise with the fans.

We come out of that pretty well in comparison to some English clubs. Surprised not to see City at least on the lower part of the list if nothing else because they are a Top 6 club over here.

Guess it doesn't take into account family stand tickets. Mine is cheaper than stated there.

West Ham appear to be (proportionately) staying true to acknowledging the working-class roots of their fans

Or is it because they've got the stadium for peanuts.

Little Old poverty Burnley charging significantly more than Real, Bayern, Barcelona, Milan clubs, Porto etc and claiming to be penniless - disgrace. Tight fisted owners.

Also, gotta feel for the Newcastle fans - don't care what people say they are loyal and committed and Ashley is taking the piss as per usual.

The only gripe I’d have is that I pay £32 in SK1 for an u22 ticket when we’re at home. By contrast, the most I’ve had to pay for an away u22 ticket as of yet is £22 for the games I’ve been to... just seems weird to me.

Obviously I still pay less than those purchasing adult tickets so can’t moan too much, but it is almost a 50% increase in watching us at home vs away.
