I think after seeing the 432 work against Brighton after going down to ten men Puel might try another 3 man midfield with Maddison as a 10?

It would be unexpected/hard to plan for, even once Pep sees the line-up as we have lined up with a 4-2-3-1 with those exact personnel a few times this season. If we played with high tempo and pressed, with Maddison suffocating Fernandinho, Vardy closing down Ederson, and the three man midfield disrupting their build up, a lot of their outlets for possession would be stifled. Pereira and Chilwell would need to have excellent games though to stop their wingers and support the attack on the flanks.

I know you put Evans or Maguire but I still don't think we would win if we played those 12. 

 

Agreed on Maddison has to be number 1O, that is where we signed him, that is where he is best. Should give him time to play there as he will be brilliant for us and potentially England I think. Potentially a very good front 3 in that team.
