Puel says Leicester have plan to beat Man City

Recommended Posts

The only plan is to score more bleeding goals than them - do a Wigan on them - no mistakes and make your one chance count.

Dont over complicate, they are more skilful, so let's be more street savvy. We need a negative, staccato, boring game to frustrate them. I love it when we play crap, frustrate the opposition and win - as per our five 1-0 wins in spring 2016, when we were poor, but very savvy., especially at home. Norwich, Newcastle and Southampton!!!

He best have a plan. This tourney is one of limited chances at success this season. We took it to pens last year until Riyad and Vardz Fvcked up. If we manage to go 10 minutes without sterling sticking his meat into our defence's A hole, Danny Ward will save our bacon.

I feel this is a game where our 'lack of creativity' wont be our biggest problem. We'll need to be much more organised at the back, and in midfield, than we've shown. Puel limits defensive duties by controlling the ball and pressing, which works fine when we've got the ball. Man City are masters of 'keep ball', have been honing it for years and have the players technically competent to do it. We don't beat them at their own game, not yet anyway. We've got to know how to play without the ball for this one, particularly at the back.

Play the right game against Man City and you will get chances to score, but we will need to get the defensive bit right to stay in the game.

Just as long as we don't play the match winners of those 3 games. Ulloa we can't but Okazaki and Morgan?
