No contact from Sky following my cancellation, so with a few days to go until I am cut off, I gave them a call.

My renewal price was £106, but had a special offer for £86, which I turned down.

Phoned today, and they have offered me £58 pm, for their new entertainment pack, Sy Sports and BT sports (all HD).  Basically everything except movies.  And a free SKY Q install (usually £99).

Quite chuffed with that.

I've got Sky but I'm moving house could my Mrs take out a new deal for our new house and get any discounts as I'd like to keep them in both houses for a short time.

Hi mate, I am moving house soon and can’t get Virgin there (which I currently have). Need a new deal for TV and the best broadband. Would prefer all sports if not too expensive. Anything available please?

We did the same, and you'll still be able to keep your account, Netflix will just start charging you for it, I think it's around £13 a month.

It would get 35% off standard prices, I don't know if it can be used in conjunction with another offer. Best thing to do is take the code and ring to customer service number, if you want to talk about it more specifically

Even if you don't use it. I've still got 14/30 codes left so it wouldn't matter that much

Yeah 25% off tv packs for existing customers. It's Sky Q Multiscreen now though. Which I believe is basically an upgraded version of multi room

I rang up today to sort out sky for my new house. Used the code @Haywood_6 provided however the woman I spoke to managed to better it. Got sky plus super fast broadband with sky sports and bt sports and HD. All that for £76, which is less than I am currently paying for Virgin which doesn’t include sky sports. Also I was on hold/talking to Virgin for 3 hours 5 minutes whereas I got through to Sky within 5 minutes.

Some of these prices sound nuts. What’s the appeal of Sky over the main 5 (Netflix, Prime, now, Disney, Apple) on demand services which comes to about £40 still?

Well if that’s £40 and then add on your internet and sky sports and that will come to around £80?

Ah I thought it was just TV, that’s not as bad if it’s internet as well
