Tuna Posted 19 July 2020 Author Share Posted 19 July 2020 (edited) Enjoyed watching Altrincham beat Chester 3-2 in the National League North playoff eliminator, Alty 3-0 up and Chester down to 10 men before a Chester fightback proved too little too late, game turned on decision to send off Chester's winger at 1-0 and award a penalty, when Chester were on top, never a penalty or a sending off by the way. Chester joint manager Jonno sent off for kicking a water bottle onto the pitch at the end of the game. Alty go to York next week and have already won there twice in the FA Cup and FA Trophy this season, should be a good game. Altrincham have beaten York twice at Bootham Crescent this season in the cup and Gateshead did the double over Boston in the league, so should be interesting. That's incredible, Byrne was a youth player here before we released him.
