Bristol City are mulling over offering former Leicester City right-back Danny Simpson a deal until the end of the season.

The experienced defender, a Premier League title winner in 2016, has been at Failand this past week and has been examined closely by his former Foxes manager Nigel Pearson.

Some great comments on here  Some questioning why they're signing a LB (!) and referencing Huddersfield fans comments about not getting forward as 'his legs have gone' (he never got forward in his prime). 

 

They doesn't seem to be in agreement with the signing of our Danny.

I suspect he'll be helping Nigel with a bit of coaching and mentoring, Nige has form with us for signing an experienced pro who won't actually play that much ( Chris Powell, Kevin Phillips). Can do no harm having a player like Danny around

Great interview with Danny Simpson on a Man Utd blog. Whole thing is a good listen, but Leicester is about 1 hr 15 in. Talks about being signed, Pearson and obviously the Title!
