Wasn't the goal post - it was the defender's boot!

Can't remember who replaced him - I'm gonna guess with either Stuart Wilson or Graham Fenton?

 

Fun (useless) fact: This goal was right before half time and they stretchered him off because he'd properly knocked himself out. Awake and in the dressing room on oxygen, Walshy told him that it was disallowed!

Didn't he actually look quite good for a few games at first?!

 

I seem to remember a Gillingham fan coming over to the old PlanetFootball forum and saying he was brilliant for his first few games but ****ing dreadful after that.

The unfortunate event being for Arsenal :D

They took that team picture after their 2-1 win against us in Feb 2016. Think Ozil captioned it 'best team' on Twitter. Lot of Arsenal fans thought they'd won the league.

 

Then we went on to win the fvcking thing without losing again in the season. They went on to lose against Utd and Swansea in their next 2 games :D
