A big factor on EEE will be determining how much investment is required to actually start production, as variation in that has a big impact on what your stake in the early stages is worth.  I can tell you getting mines to production recently in WA has been hugely expensive, often double expected costs, and years delayed.  Labour government and rights of traditional custodians make permitting difficult, and construction costs remain very high.  Its literally a gamble.

Given the potential gains the MRE has indicated though, you'd think they'll find the funding. It's just a matter of time. Then I think it'll start rising again.

It’s a LTH now but I think by the end of 2026 we will have a clearer picture of the future of the project.

From what I’ve read traditional custodians are not an issue and they’ve been working on the environmental

side for some time already. The costs and timeframe of getting a working mine into production should be

mitigated by the minerals being close the surface and mixed with materials that relatively easy to separate.

Had itchy feet with the way the markets are trending down recently so pulled all my money out apart from Nvidia and Tesla.

Think I'll leave it until the new year now and see where it all stands.

I've made a killing this last 12 months. Way more than I'd make if the market goes up a little bit while I'm not in it.

Can’t say I blame you mate, all I’m saying is this statement has categorically been proven to be true over the long term

Last little nibble on EEE at 29, final lowering of the average and that’s me setting and forgetting now

This time in 10 years 🤞

Is it best to do this under a cash isa or stocks isa or can you do it on simply invest option, can't do an isa as I've used my quota up.

I use the Stocks ISA for the obvious tax free reasons opposed to the invest option as Im not up to my yearly quota as yet.

If you’ve maxed out the yearly quota on the Cash ISA then you can split it and put some over into the Stocks ISA obviously not wanting to go over the 20k combined.

Plenty on here know much more than me so hope they correct anything I’ve fvcked up on lol

Dropping even more. Confusing

Why is it confusing?  They're a cash burning company, and moving onto a different endeavour isn't exciting confidence inspiring.

I guess it's bound to drop as they invest more and more cash into it (and therefore post bigger losses) to get the mine fully operational.

From what I’m reading on other platforms the consensus amongst the charters is that 26p was

the bottom and many are expecting a decent rise from here.

anyone got an opinion on a SIPP?

Just in process of transferring a pension into one. Not my main personal pension but workplace one picked up with previous employer.

Is it possible to choose an aggressive, higher risk fund? Or are most of the funds fairly vanilla? As this pension point is a bit of a bonus, wondered if I could go hard on this one for a decade or so. I've chosen to go with ii as the provider.

Maybe a connected point, but it seems obvious (?) that the big gains are to be made from US stocks as opposed to vanilla funds mainly invested in the UK. The disadvantage is that corrections can be also bigger, plus currency changes can make things worse.

I find most of what Musk spouts off on non-business issues is ignorant garbage eg every village in England is like a Hobbiton under attack. Yet his way of creating new business is awesome. Seriously thinking of getting a piece of Tesla.

Yes you can stick it in an aggressive fund. My whole pot is in a 6/7 risk fund, but I’m in my 30s so not bothered. 23% growth this year
