It's a chant, but the one Coventry fans used to sing quite continually whilst playing LCFC (''Your Mum's Your Dad, Your Dad's Your Mum...'') was annoying to say the least..

Was happy to meet another Leicester fan at Uni. He even gave me a lift to Sainsburys. But then.... 

 

He played me a Leicester City album full of 70s and 80s songs about Leicester. I've never heard so much shit.

That Marks Electrical horse-sh1ete they put on Youtube in the 2012-13 season takes some beating.

 

Mercifully it seems to have vanished without trace, but it is still burned in my memory. The chorus just went 'Leicester City are number one, more determined than anyone'.

 

They then had this weird cheerleader type chant that went 'Knockeart, Knockeart, let's hear it for ker-nock-eart'

 

The song was clearly shat together in two minutes after the Huddersfield game where Knocky scored his scorpion kick, because the 'music video' if you can call it that was just Marks Electrical's logo plastered over the screen with the club crest, and a low-quality loop of that goal.

 

We deserved Deeney Day after that.

Even Hurry Up Harry by Sham 69, a decent old punk anthem, as soon as they changed the lyrics to be about England it instantly became a shit song

On a different note, who's that singer-songwriter from Leicester who is widely misconstrued to be actually half-decent? Didn't he do "When You're Smiling"? Proper dreary, that.

 

Dave Henson's "A Song For Yann Kermogant" IS actually a good City song.
