I know it's all relative but I'd consider that pretty expensive considering he made no competitive appearances for us. It was only a couple of years prior we were breaking our club record transfer fee to bring in Ulloa for less than that.

Literally my only memory of him being a Leicester player was me being outside a bar off the main square in Bruges when we played them away in the champions league, the street was packed with City fans and I noticed one lad had a shirt with his name on the back and thinking ‘that’s a random choice’

always felt he wasn’t an “us” signing. Had a good Euros and there was massive hype about him and we took the bait. usually our signings are long term targets that are thought through. This always felt a bit knee jerk.
