Just a note, I disagree on English humor being easy to understand for the non-english. I remember being confused about some posts on the jokes/funny pictures thread but I do get it now (maybe). It's part sarcasm, part references, and part inside jokes between posters here.

That season, apart from the CL, was horrendous. I mean, 1-0 losses away to Burnley and Bournemouth? A lot of sane men would question their love for football after those games. And the crown jewel of that season, watching Leicester lose AWAY to Sunderland 2-1 over watching Barca vs Real Madrid. Losing was one thing, but losing whilst playing that brand of football should be illegal. I can't believe I'm saying this but here it goes new fans (from last season and this season) are lucky. In the 2016/2017 season, we didn't have ball-playing CBs or overlapping fullbacks (chilwell was too young). The mere thought of those things were like sweet dreams. People were losing their minds that year. Hoofball was actually a thing in the not too distant past. People (including me) were talking about 3ATB formations like we had the players for it. And they were getting upvoted for it too... that PL season was a torture. The second part of last season was nothing compared to that. We now actually have 2 RBs who can actually overlap. TWO! For better or worse, this forum contributed massively to me sticking around. One of the best football forums in the world IMO.
