Amy time you use a new card you have to use the PIN the first time to enable contactless payments.

Might be what happened when you added them all as new cards in ApplePay.

Nah, I've used them all before as cards when I first got them...just not used them for a long time. I have a great memory for numbers as a rule, just need to make an effort with my PINs now and not trust the phone so much I guess.

It's a fairly new thing to ensure that it's still you in possession of the phone and it's not been swiped out of your hand while unlocked.

Really hope the sudden popularity of statistically critiquing everything passes. Use of stats has a time and a purpose, but getting a bit sick of everything being statistically analysed for no reasonn

If it's a stat that backs up something or you come across stat Xand think that's nuts that stat backs up theory Y thats fair enough.

The vast majority of the time someone is trying to find a stat to prove their point despite how tenuous the link is between the two.

Agree with you, but I was more in context of sport.

We use too many stats that just are not needed, are meaningless to the viewer. And we then get wannabe stat gurus all over the place.

Can’t post in the elections thread as I’m banned for whatever reason but pleased to see Kamala lost!

Hooray! Shame about the destruction of public services and the removal of citizen’s human rights tho.

You were probably banned for being a bit of a nob head to be fair, I don’t know why you’re acting oblivious to that lmao

Dissenting views are obviously unpopular, no need to name call though, that’s more of a reason for a ban imo.

I suspect it's because you were persistently ignoring what was said to you, fairly obnoxiously too.

Is that a reason to ban people? This site used to be good but it's gone to shit because of the stupid moderating.

I'm not here to discuss that - we can moan all we like about it. It's a known known that persistent diversionary entries will cause issues.

How can someone who prefers Trump say no need for name calling 🤣

Can you give 1 example of something I persistently and intentionally ignored? I may well have not replied to everyone that was engaging me, I have a life and am not able to commit lots of time on here and given pro Trump was the dissenting view, there was a lot of posts to respond too.

When did I say I support Trump’s name calling?

Forgive me, but I will pass. You just have to look at how people respond to you to tell you you might be doing something wrong.

Can I at least ask you why you bother ever posting a viewpoint or engaging in debate if thats your attitude?  It seems to me like you’re suggesting that dissenting views are not welcome which would make debate futile. I know people don’t like some of my views but none of my views are uncommon or unpopular in the wider world.

You’re the first to quote me with a scoffing comment but always seem to take this approach, particularly when asked for examples or evidence. Maybe you should consider just using a laughing emoji to my posts like the others who want their view heard but aren’t open to debate.
