Happy Diwali! How are people celebrating, if you are celebrating?

Lots of food and drink at home with family :)

Happy Diwali!

Enjoying the fireworks, pretty cool.  If people are worried about their pets, keep them inside as opposed to complaining about the fireworks on social media!

I used to live in Belgrave when I was growing  up and  even though I was your typical pasty white boy  and my family were not Hindus Diwali was always such a nice time..  we’d be playing in a park and all day long you’d get these Random Hindu mums coming up to us giving out sweets literally every 15 minutes. Walking down Melton Road with the streets packed everyone was so friendly. Such a nice time.

Happy Diwali to all our Hindu friends on FT and to all who celebrate it!

Is that a new, persistent dry cough? Have you lost your sense of smell or taste? :P

Happy Diwali folks. Definitely getting a Mithaas tonight to join in with the festivities.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's a Mithaas?
