least it looks like they haven't revisited the idea of PPV for January then by the looks of things.

Didn't realise there is no New Years Day game this year though which is a shame.

First time a games been on my Birthday for a while.

Pretty sure the FA cup game on the 9th is on I-player as well.

8:15 slot is a new one for next year then. I think they had that after the restart last season though didn't they?

First New Years eve the players have ever had 'off' and everything will be shut, sensible decision lollol

Always one team we play twice in 7 to 8 weeks.

Liverpool in 2014/15. Man City in 2015/16. Watford 2017/18.

And West Ham last year, 28th December and 22nd January

The Premier League fixtures are a little bit weird in that sense, not sure on the logic. As an example, in the Bundesliga, you play everyone once and then everyone again in the same order, so whoever you play on gameday 1 will be the team you play on gameday 1 of the second half of the season. Couldn't tell you about the other big European leagues.

Whereas over here, it's not necessarily a simple swap at the halway point. Also, I am pretty sure one season (if not a few more) we played one team twice before we played the 19th team for the first time.

Yes it’s really making a mess of my social schedule right now. I’m frequently having to reschedule from the dining room to the living room

Weekend of the 20th we play Villa, more than likely on the Sunday as it’s in between the 2 Thursday night Europa league games.

On a related note does anyone know when the fixture dates are confirmed for February? Can’t be too far away now?
