Unless there's a dramatic collapse, Bangladesh are about to win their second Test on the spin against Pakistan. Great stuff from them.

Played really well across both tests as well haven't they, not just shithoused it.

What would everyone’s all time England XI be? In test format?

I’ve had a think and quite like this:

Cook

Stewart (WK)

Thorpe

Root

Pietersen

Stokes

Flintoff

Swann

Broad

Gough

Anderson

Since I started watching cricket (late 90s) I'd have pretty much what you've got there but I'd have Bell in for Gough and move everyone from Stokes onwards down the order. I know it's cheating a bit only having two dedicated pace bowlers but I reckon between them Flintoff and Stokes would do a job.

Brendan McCullum given the white ball gig as well.

On the surface, excellent decision. Allegedly the schedule is easing... however I think giving him both jobs will dramatically shorten the amount of time he spends in the job overall unfortunately.

Good and bad news for us that.

Good news that someone from our county is representing the country.

Bad news is that we won’t have him with us for much longer.

He signed a new contract at the start of the season. The reason people usually leave is to play for England, but for some reason Key has taken a liking to our youngsters (mates with Taylor & Thomas maybe), so no need to do that anymore.

Josh Hull will make his debut for England .

Congratulations to him.

I know why they’re doing it and I’m delighted for him….

…..but a cap for a bowling average of 63 going at nearly five an over is insane. His bowling ave is 185 for the season at over five an over!

It’s like the anti-Money Ball.

I've just watched the Aussie blind girls 3rd XI (ok I'd heard of about half of them)  utterly pump Scotland.

Still, it was sunny (yes even in Scotland) and I had lager.

Looks like a nice day.

By all accounts it sounds like Travis Head went absolutely ballistic.

Too easy for Sussex .

I've little time for them after their recent run-ins with Leicestershire, but always good when a non-Test venue/Hundred host county gets beaten.
