Even the Sky WinViz thing seemed a bit off yesterday. Had us ahead of India when we were 170 behind.

About 105 overs of total play left, not counting any that may be lost tomorrow for weather?

 

Inclined to think that's more than enough for a result either way if this last wicket falls quickly.

May not be enough this time but this long tail has to give England hope for the rest of the series, if we can find a way of getting Pant out cheaply lol

 

I think the fact we could chase this will probably go against us because we will definitely get out going for it now.

Ashwin retired. 

 

Yadav deserves a go. Arshdeep I'm not too keen on. Agree about Thakur. 

 

Even players like Sundar could play.

Kuldeep Yadav would have been licking his lips at a 5th day pitch with this target. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and all that.

 

What a great test match by the way, great way to kick off what should be a captivating series. Just hope rain doesn't ruin it tomorrow and we get a result either way.

England really shouldn't be drawing or losing from here. 

 

Seeing off this morning without even losing a wicket is impressive. 

 

Outside of Bumrah there's no bowler that's really threatened. Thakur is useless and wasteful.

Steady....still 254 to get which would be a tough chase on it's own
