On a related note, if this does finish 2-2, then it will be the fourth consecutive home series against India/Oz that has finished that score.

Speaks of a failure to take opportunities at home against the best opposition that really needs addressing.

Can't say that I agree. England chased down the target fair and square first Test, India outplayed them in the second, then choked in the 3rd.

England have won enough critical moments for this series to be 3-2 or even 4-1.

I think that's the point for me though. Dropped catches in this and the last test have cost England. India's sticking power is to be applauded.

Yeah, fair to say.

This morning shows that they're not winning enough critical moments in this match.

Another dropped catch. We've got to take those.

Thankfully not too damaging, but yes.

One down, three to go before the lead gets near 300.

Can't work out what would be an insurmountable target.

Record chase is 260+.

Think I'll be 'comfortable' with a 300+ lead...

Have to remember England are a batman down, so that counts against them.

I'd say it's getting a pretty tough target now, but batting has got easier with each inns.

Seems a bit unfair that England have to play with 10 whilst Pant was able to swap in and out as he pleased.

Woakes could have done the same if he was fit enough to bat, England have deemed him not fit enough.

Not particularly.

Do you expect Woakes to play in a sling?

No but I expect we should be able to replace his role in the side if India were.

Google India's complaints about ball changes at Lord's. That'll make you laugh.
