Absolute roulette bowling from Josh Tongue here.

Entertaining, at least.

That’s what makes it dangerous.

Finally we see a decent pitch in this series. Reckon the Indian bowlers should be able to cause issues too

Deep definitely will based on how he bowled at Lords.

Weird day.

Lots of wickets, and at times never looked like hitting 200.

But here we are lol

Probably still England's day given the amount of wickets, but I expect to see our bowlers early on tomorrow...

England selectors might have a sigh of relief if this rules Woakes out of the ashes. Sad for him ofc.

I highly doubt he'd go to Oz in any case, he has a poor away record. He's great over here with a Duke ball & favourable conditions. He's just not quick enough to make an impact on hard, bouncy tracks, with a Kookabura ball. Hope he's ok though.

Based on what I've seen England have got to somehow keep Wood, Archer and Atkinson fit. I don't know how based on yesterday Potts hasn't come into the equation - I know they raved about Cook, and im loathe to judge on one performance but I cant see how Potts isn't more of a threat than Woakes and Cook currently.

Both sides pretty terrible yesterday - some dreadful bowling and some terrible decisions.

Yeah if they want to be able to provide a decent challenge to the Aussies then we need to go with Archer, Wood, Atkinson, Woakes and Stokes all fit and firing.

Monumental 'if'.

He's been consistently picked to play for the last couple of years when all the England side have been thinking about is the upcoming Ashes series. He would 100% have gone.

For what it's worth, the Aussie pitches in the last few years have had a lot more in them for bowlers than English ones.
