The driver can talk to the pit wall but the pit wall can not reply in anyway

commentators keep talking about how hard it is to overtake there, its already hard to do so in F1 so why the hell are they going to tracks that make it even harder? ditch those tracks if only for entertainment purposes

That’s how I understand it - Hamilton’s mistake to stay out. If he’d come in then he’d be the first driver in the queue to leave the pits because he was leading and he should have realised anyone who stayed out would be passed by him on slicks

also why haven't Mercedes changed their car so they are better in traffic yet, been an issue for years, no point having pace if you can't get close enough to the car in front to overtake them as your car gets too hot

Alonso and Hamilton with one of the best battles this season. Alonso was superb to hold him back for so long. Might have won the race for Ocon.
