I find this is me all the time anyway. I touch type near perfectly, typing (on an actual keyboard) is pretty much my most significant life skill, which is pretty tragic really. 

 

But for the last like ten years of foxestalk (why have I been here long enough to make a statement like that?) I've been posting from smartphones and I'm so shit at it. I look back at my posts sometimes and they look like Leicesterpool would be embarrassed of them. Every post is Edited By Finnegan seconds after posting. 

 

To be honest, I'm about six Kronenburgs in right now and it's probably BETTER than normal because at least I'm bothering to check my auto corrects because I know I am tips. Usually I just blast it out in some flustered hurry and realise I've said something retarded five minutes later when people are quoting me or reacting with lols to something I didn't mean to be funny.

Phones are unbeatable for things that only take 10% of your brain (for me texting, group chat, Untappd and the joke thread).

 

But I don’t get why they need to be a one-device-fits-all.  For mail, streaming matches and posting here, my laptop is 10x better.  So that’s what I use, especially since lockdown.

 

Formatting posts (hell, even typing accurately) on a phone takes extra mental effort I could better put toward coherent prose.

 

On topic … about half a bottle of Paso Robles red in me which is more than usual.

Lol same here. I type too fast and don't give a fook when i hit that "subit reply" button. Then i read back my message and think look at all of the spelling mistakes and poor grammar. I then edit the spelling mistakes but still miss a few lol.

I honestly stopped caring about what people think of my shite, incoherent posts. Either you get what i mean or  you think that I am a bell. Either way i don't care.

If it makes you feel better I do this on pretty much every post I make and I'm usually using a real computer and keyboard like right now, even on basic, single sentence posts like this one.
