Swiss - Gokhan inler and Gelson Fernandes.

Can't think of anyone from Norway but had a few from Sweden.

We've had players from

Croatia - Kramaric

Slovenia - Crncic

Hungary - Fulop, Bori, Futacs

Bulgaria - Tunchev

Czech Republic - Bednar

for Eastern Europe.

Also Ivory coast - Sol Bamba

Greece - Theo Zagorakis

Mali - Diabate

Australian - Thatto, Henderson

South Africa - Leshabela

With respects to Bulgaria, we can also add Radostin Kishishev to the list.

As for Greece, let's get Nikos Dabizas on the go. And Molla Wague for Mali.

Kisnorbo and Spider Kalac for Australia.

Can also add Romania (Alex Paşcanu) to the list.

Finally, Benkovic for Croatia.

Just had to have a look as I didn't remember him. Turns out I was 2 when he was at Leicester.

Only reason I go on about him Is he was a sub in one of my first games and have mentioned him before in the past as an irrelevant Leicester player.  He was on loan.

I think one of those wins was against Oldham.I remember that we suddenly looked formidable, then in true City style had to sell our best player.Jari was about as an exotic signing that a club like Leicester could have made back then when overseas players were quite rare.Plus he had scored against England.I was so excited 😆.Pleat wasn’t so impressed. He became a much loved ressie in the old Central League and put in some great performances. The best being a match winning game against a star studded Man U who needed a win to stay up or win the League?? I can’t remember which.

My first season 1987/88.  Beat Oldham

4-1 and Plymouth 4-0.

A tad - Elvis Hammond was desperate (and anyway, his full name includes (ankle))

One Gary Ford probably had his best two games in those. Orthodox RW, aim at the (very) big bloke...

Oh I remember Gary Ford and a capture in the photo of the Swindon programme “Gary Ford gets a shot away before Paul Kerr can tackle” - photos from the Middlesbrough game.

All Australian XI

Schwarzer

Tiatto

Kisnorbo

Kalac - can’t be any worse at CB than he was in goal.

Elder

Wesolowski

Corica

Oldfield

Wood - NZ is practically another more progressive Australian state.

Henderson - Could do a job as a target man I reckon.

What other nationalities could we get a full XI for? And have I missed anyone I can add to my Aussie team?

Kasper

Ricardo

Huth

Kamark

Castagne

Kante

Ndidi

Tielemans

Mahrez

Iheanacho

Knockaert

Keller, Wasilewski, Cags, Fuchs, Cambiasso, Zagorakis, Yakubu, Ulloa, Okazaki on the bench

Agree with most of this but I couldn't have Castagne over Fuchs. Castagne started well but hasn't looked great since his injury and has been here less than a year. Fuchs has been an outstanding player for us and a premier league winner. Best left back we've ever had at the club in my lifetime in my opinion.
