He's way ahead of Chilwell at his age and level of experience.  He's also playing at the highest level possible.  Give the guy a break.

Thomas is a good player but we seem to have raised the bar so high that being a good player is not enough. 

 

No reason why Thomas won't be first choice in the future though if he develops well. 

Won't ever be good enough if we don't play him, especially in matches where he's not going to get roasted.

If you've been reading this thread you'll understand that you're not a bad lad, but you're not good enough to play in this team of living Greek Gods. 

You'll find your level somewhere - Coalville Ravens or Hinckley Athletic might give you a run out.

I know you think you've done well and probably BR has praised your very ordinary efforts playing in the best league in the world, yet there are real experts on here, who know much more about football and football players than Brendan ever will and can see you're just not up to the job. And their opinion is what counts. Fuchsy'll take your spot.
