Probably us not signing him? lol I imagine most clubs feel the same about Evans because they were too stuck up to sign him.

Weren't quite a few clubs linked with Evans, don't think Dawson was in danger of going to Man City 😂

Sort of my point though. Evans would have done a job for a top four club for a few years but their fans/manager was too stuck up to push it through.

West Ham fans were the same about Dawson and now he’s a hero.

Newcastle may well spend millions in the summer but with Eddie at the wheel and Staveley running the show, this should hold them back to a certain degree.

Pretty sure West Brom rejected a bid the year before we signed him of just under 20 million from Man City. So not like Man City didn't try, also Evans was always linked with the big clubs. My point is Dawson never was.

Great play by the Wham £100m man - he is to midfield what Maguire is to defence

Happy that West Ham are beating Newcastle, hoping they get relegated now that Trippier is injured for acouple of months.

We had Dawson under control except for the extra time goal last Sunday.

Edit Newcastle score 😳

3k Newcastle fans there, all wearing different replica shirts.

Did they have one from the Middle Ages then?

We were all happy when he scored against Spurs when we won the league.

Surely Moyes has enough to out tactic Howe.   Newcastle are more irritating than my ex Mother in Law.

If West Ham finished 7th and we won the conference league would they miss out on Europe? If so that's the dream scenario.

That's where our ambitions are at lol

Looking at the variety, most probably.

Willock did well but Jenas just said it was 'out of this world' and Joe Cole said it was 'outstanding', comparing it to Bergkamp.

Wasn't that good ffs lol

Based on us being unlikely to finish 7th, and the conference being our best route to Europe then yes. Then stopping a side like West Ham qualifying despite finishing below them would also make it more satisfying.

Ferdinand's not that painful when its not a Man Utd match, you can tell how annoyed he was at the defending of the goals and what Newcastle in particular did wrong for the Dawson goals.

Punditry is a lot better when you have positional players going about how well or badly the teams are defending/attscking etc rather than chucking in a load of ex strikers from the particular clubs playing.
