Punditry is a lot better when you have positional players going about how well or badly the teams are defending/attscking etc rather than chucking in a load of ex strikers from the particular clubs playing. Most of them are much better away from their own teams and the tribal nature of it. Carragher has covered several of our matches involving teams who aren't Liverpool and he's been fine. 1
Guest StevieLynex Posted 19 February 2022 Posted 19 February 2022 Perhaps we should sign Shelvey to make Vesty feel more at home

Vacamion Posted 19 February 2022 Posted 19 February 2022 This game is hardly brimming with excitement.

Popular Post Zear0 Posted 19 February 2022 Popular Post Posted 19 February 2022 Pretty dull game. Dan Burn clattering Bowen at the end was the highlight. 5
tickler28 Posted 19 February 2022 Posted 19 February 2022 Hammers f+++ed top 4 a lot sooner than we did in the past TBF

Vacamion Posted 19 February 2022 Posted 19 February 2022 It was a war of attrition, fought mostly in the middle. Awful to watch, but Newcastle won't care. They are looking increasingly safe, given what's going on beneath them.
Nalis Posted 19 February 2022 Posted 19 February 2022 5pts in the last 5 games for West Ham. They played us, Watford, Leeds, Newcastle and Man U in that 5 so wasn't even a horrid run.

Zear0 Posted 19 February 2022 Posted 19 February 2022 Got 5Live on and I think Jon Woodgate is going for a post-match proposal to Van Dijk.
mozartfox Posted 19 February 2022 Posted 19 February 2022 Yep West Ham are fooked. Spuds, Arsenal and possibly Wolves to make up the top 6. John Moss enjoying himself as usual. He really is a Roger Hunt.
Ric Flair Posted 19 February 2022 Posted 19 February 2022 Brighton always seem to struggle vs Burnley, THEY DUNT LIKE IT

Leicester_Loyal Posted 19 February 2022 Posted 19 February 2022 Is this the point in the season where Burnley end up getting like 11 or 12 points out of 15? Usually they do it once a season and it keeps them in the league. If they don't manage it this year (which I can't see them doing), they'll be down. 1
