It’s actually embarrassing we haven’t come close to selling out Wembley, first game back with full crowds and people are acting like they’d rather be locked inside again. I genuinely cant think of a game (home or away) where we’ve had a proper turn out like the good all days and created a decent atmosphere. Winning these trophies really hasn’t helped us. Very strange though how there’s still thousands of tickets left!!

It’s all the fear-mongering in the press. I’m not surprised at all. Its going to be a long time before things feel like they used to. Wolves ain’t even sold out yet.

To be fair, I’m not sure it sold out in 2016 when it was a novelty and we were the most fashionable club in the world, never mind in a pandemic where people are still worried.

That was what I thought, but it could be anything. Maybe last minute ticket buyers don’t want to watch the match in the middle of a thunderstorm 🌩 😂😂😂

Utterly baffling. The club has been outright hostile towards ticket sales for this match.

What's the agenda?

Are they concerned it is the 'wrong type of fan'? Not the usual away mix of 85 year old Grandmas and 18 year old kids?

See Man C are doing the same no tickets will be available on their website after 10am tomorrow. Makes you wonder whether the FA has something to do with it.

The Fa do set the conditions of sale as per the rules of community shield

https://www.thefa.com/~/media/978792AF8BBE4927AA4583437A7DF882.ashx

Match Tickets
29. The Association shall have the power in its absolute discretion to allocate Match tickets to the participating Clubs and to give directions as to their distribution by which the participating Clubs shall be bound.

You realise that posts like this might actually stop some supporters going to the event because they’ll think others are selfish dickheads right? Very smart.

🤣 think ticket sales have already shown people are wary.

How many people do you think are gonna do this. I'd think loads being honest.

Also those being doubled jabbed doesn't stop them carrying or spreading so should they all be taking tests as well as they are more likely to be carrying but show no symptoms.

Dress it up however you want it's a farce and nothing else other than an inconvenience. 1000s of people die of the flu each year, don't remember having to have a flu passport to attend a game.

It’s not really embarrassing about selling out. Covid won’t be the only reason some people don’t go. Financially the last 18 months have been very difficult for some people and they had very little notice to find money for this.

Yeah plenty of reasons, shame but it is what it is.

Gonna be really interesting to see what the wolves attendance is. That will be a much better gauge of if people are still worried about covid. Or if it was cost, travel and timescale with the match.

Man City only have 613 seats left now. We’ve got thousands 😕
