How they managed to blag the final played at their gaff?

The winner of the 2 teams drawn first in the semi-final get home advantage for the semi final, which is just stupid really

You're going to be a bundle of fun next season if Forest get promoted :@

I refuse to contemplate such a thing until it happens. :@

Him as well

I have to admit I wasn’t really a big fan of him, but he’s proved me wrong. If he’s not involved next season hope he gets a good championship loan.

Same. The confidence he got from starting that FA Cup game made a noticeable difference. At his age he needs a full seasons 1st team football though to have a long term future here and I think he'll get a loan this summer.

Nixon has just tweeted 'Barnsley to sign young fox'

Any ideas who? It's being his Patreon

I think Brunt and WMM would be the most likely candidates.

Personally I'd keep Brunt in the squad because of his versatility and start him in the cups. Admittedly, it was one game but he looked a more progressive player against Watford than Choudhury ever has.

I'd rather Brunt got minutes at LB than Bertrand, CB over Vestergaard and DM of Choudhury/Mendy.

Is that sign permanently or just a loan.

Apologies if it's been mentioned.

Hopefully a loan, be annoyed if permanent as has done well this season, 8 goals and 1 assist in 16 under 18 league games

Decent, they're basically starting from scratch next season in League 1 so a great opportunity for him.

Apparently played for Barnsley’s under 23s as a trialist recently

Think this might end up being a permanent deal, one article online (no clue on the source though) saying he is out of contract

Championship club 'ready to sign' Leicester City striker after surprise exit
Latest Leicester City transfer news from LeicestershireLive as young striker Jack Butterfill looks set to join Barnsley after leaving the Foxes

Championship side Barnsley are "ready to sign" Leicester City striker Jack Butterfill.

The 18-year-old looks to be heading to the second tier side after his surprise exit from City at the end of a season which saw him score 10 goals in 19 starts and three substitute appearances for the under-18s. It was first apparent that Butterfill had left the club when he appeared for Barnsley under-23s in a game against Watford earlier this month.

While Barnsley lost the game 2-1, Butterfill played well and impressed his teammates and coaches at Oakwell. Now, according to journalist Alan Nixon, Barnsley are now "ready to sign" the youngster.

He was perhaps unfortunate to have been in competition at Leicester with Welsh teen Chris Popov, who scored 16 in 22 for the youth team. Fellow striker Kian Pennant had netted eight in 12, with one in two for the under-23s.

His move to Barnsley may come as a surprising one as the Tykes are currently without a manager. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is said to be a leading contender. The club are pursuing their transfer targets regardless, though.

One of Butterfill's best moments in a Leicester shirt was his 90th-minute winner against Crewe Alexandra to put the young Foxes into the fifth round of this season's FA Youth Cup. City went on to be knocked out in the quarter-final stage against Man United, who went on to win the competition.

Do we know how long we've consecutively had a youth product in starting XI of the first team for Premier League games?

Guessing it's dating back to when Andy King first started, and by the time he had left Chilwell and Barnes were playing. But when Barnes has been missing, has any other youth product been playing?

Schlupp might have bridged the gap

And when Barnes has missed the odd game KDH will likely have played this season, or Choudhury or Thomas might have been in the side over the last year or 2

Not sure about starting XI, but would imagine in the squad for a fair few years now
