Since Rodgers has had him in the first team, he's returned to the academy and he's so confident. Just shows what that can do for a players progression. He's really starting to make a name for himself.

Like the left footed Wilson-Brown, he's the only one who's managed to make that back 3 work so far.

Is it Grist that can play right back as well? I think he would be more suited to the role Nelson is being made to play

Yes, surprised he's not playing, he usually plays there as Nelson is only in as it's the FA Youth Cup.

You get a feeling we can score at anytime and so can they.

It really is like watching the first team. We get a throw in  in their half & it ends up back with our keeper. We have a good attacking position but pass it back to our defenders. It culminates with us poncing about at the back & letting them back in the game.

 

We are so much better than these but it seems we don't worry about scoring, just as long as we keep possession anywhere on the pitch.

Alves just looks a cut above doesn't he?! Probably one of the youngest players on the pitch as well.

Hard to imagine how good this lad will be when he's developed more physically. Isn't even fully grown yet ffs!

Alves stands out. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him feature more in the first team next season.

  His talents are being wasted on the break because no one is giving him options.

Alves is different gravy. Wonder if he’ll be treated more like Foden, and TAA as in not going on loan and training with the first team and playing with the u23’s. Looks technically good enough already.
