He'd give us a much needed lift surely?

 

I always thought we looked a more motivated and energetic team with him in it, even if he was personally out of form.

Chilwell and Fofana deserve any boos, though.

I suspect this is an unpopular opinion but I can't bring myself to boo Fofana. I know he behaved like shit but he was a huge part of our cup win, especially his performance in the final. This has definitely changed over time, but success at that level kind of trumps everything else for me. Same with Kante and Mahrez.

At least Fofana signed a new contract before leaving. Whereas Tielemans couldn't stop eating pies and left for

free .

I wish our crowd could muster up the same amount of energy booing ex-players that screwed us over as they put into clapping Maddison last time we played Spurs. 

 

That dude got more support than our own players. Weird. 

 

Not that KDH is one of those that needs a good booing. Everyone knows what the deal was there.

They may have all moved on but only two that I can think of, Kante and Mahrez, have done anything of note since leaving.

Kramaric has played in a World Cup final TBF.

 

Jonny Evans won the FA Cup. Tielemans and Barnes have played Champion's League, Maddison won a Prem player of the month.

 

Bet none regretted missing the away day to Plymouth last season...!

Chilwell won a Champions League and was arguably MOTM in the final.

 

Complete anomaly in truth. On the whole he's been pretty average for them. But he actually reached the summit.
