This was something I was debating with a mate the other day.  What's the best goal you've ever seen scored against us?

Have tried to find it on YouTube but can't for the life of me... but one night in October 1994 we played Brighton at Filbert Street in the League Cup. We were already 1-0 down after the first leg and Stuart Munday pops up with an absolute screamer from 35 yards.  I remember it being the only goal we conceded that my Dad just applauded because it was that good.

The memory might be better than the reality but did wonder if any other goals stick out in people's memories.

One that always sticks in my memory was when we were in League 1. I think it was a 2-1 win against Bristol Rovers and their goal was like a half volley on the turn from about 30 yards right into the top corner. Absolute peach of a goal.

Angel di Maria easily. That goal gets forgotten because they threw away a 3-1 lead to lose 5-3 but it was a truly sensational and world class goal.

Remember that, horrendous game during a bad season. Just remember an ancient looking Jimmy Case being sent off for then near the end.

He was well into his forties by that point I think.

Oh god, so am I.

All of the 4 Sheffield Wednesday scored against us in the 1v4 home defeat, every single 1 was a screamer :appl:

Letting that fourth goal in straight after the kickoff from the third... eeh we used to be rotten 😂

Mainly for the ball getting lodged in the stanchion.

I remember that one as well.  Richard Sneekes was great.  This prompted me to look him up and I had no idea he played three games for Hinckley.

Di Maria in the 5-3 win, that chip over Kasper was unreal

...yeah, remember that...!!!

At that moment in the game it was like a training exercise for them, absolutely no pressure on the ball.

It soon turned around when Vardy went Nuclear.  Absolute gem of a game.

Ramires scored an absolute belter against us in the Great Escape season if I remember correctly.

Di Maria stands out as the best, though.

Sat in the top tier of the Kop with my best mate and his dad. Both were West Brom fans! I was 12 and very nearly decided to change my club! Thank god I didn't :lol
