I always think of Chalobah for this. Felt like in one ridiculous bullet of a strike our season was blown up as well. It said something that that went in and I wasn't even annoyed, just amazed at how good a hit I'd seen.

That was another absolute belter

THIS was the game where our downwards trajectory suddenly went upwards; two goals in injury time to make it 2-1 and then went on a run to win L1.  If you trace the seasons on then, this is the start of us becoming a big established Premier League club eventually.

That goal West Ham scored against us at our place during the title race, not sure who it was but I've never seen the stadium deflate so instantly. Felt like it was all crashing down around us.

That was a cracking goal out of nowhere.

Edit -  ah ues of course, Cresswell scored it as others said and not Snodgrass as I originally said

Not quite Di Maria or Bergkamp, but I remember two Huddersfield screamers at our place

That Cresswell goal was absolutely vile. Knew it was in the moment he hit it but it seemed to travel through the air for about half an hour

That reminded me. Mark Noble scored a hell of a goal against us under Puel. Was it last game of the season?

Angel di Maria easily. That goal gets forgotten because they threw away a 3-1 lead to lose 5-3 but it was a truly sensational and world class goal.

Still the only opposition goal I stood and applauded. What a goal it was.

Easy one for me. Jimmy Greaves circa 1962. He waltzed round 5 players, before hammering the ball past Gordon Banks. A truly memorable goal. Sheer genius.

Remember that...but be Scored a few times against us...1968..He had the audacity to Score a hatrick, the last being the winner...und

A.Clarkes season!!..he Scores with L.Glover in a 3-2 loss

at that Time Early-Late 1960s...Greavsies & Dennis Law were my favourite Opponent strikers....and though an ardentt foxes fan, I liked to

Watch Manutd & Spurs & West Ham.

All of the 4 Sheffield Wednesday scored against us in the 1v4 home defeat, every single 1 was a screamer :appl:

I remember this, was unbelievable. Didn't Burton do similar away here in the cup under Pearson? I'm sure they scored 3 absolutely amazing goals.

OK just watched Burton back. Wasn't as amazing as I remember although their 4th is incredible.

That Cresswell one really did make me think it was slipping after all. What a mad game that was. One of the worst refereeing displays I've ever seen. He was awful for both teams.

Think there’s been a thread like this before and I’m sure I’ve said it before I don’t believe the di Maria goal is that good? It’s not Phillipe Albert levels of chipping....

sneekes the best imho

Bergkamp probably for me.

If it's not the best goal, it must be the best hatrick of all time.

A privilege to witness it and the drama afterwards will live long in the memory

For me it was Deeney in the play off semi final. The quality of the actual goal was OK but for sheer drama, the importance of the match, the time in the match after we stuffed up the penalty will always go down as the greatest against us for me.
