We lost at home to Arsenal (sound familiar?) on February 28th. Since then, including that game, we have played 23 league games. Our record is:-

Won 9, Drew 4, Lost 10, Points 31. 6 of those defeats have been at home.

That is bottom half of the table form & indicates, because of the time span, that this is more than just a temporary blip. I know that we have had injuries but so does every club.

A little bit worrying I would suggest, especially as we are told that we consistently want to be challenging for top 4 & Europe not looking over our shoulders at the bottom 3

Kasper

Ricardo - Evans - Maguire - Fuchs

Tielemens - Ndidi - Maddison

Ghezzal - Vardy - Barnes

edit: Bench was; Ward, Soyuncu, Morgan, Mendy, Gray, Iheanacho, Okazaki

To be fair that's a good team.

Good rodgers signings: Tielemans, Fofana Castagne Justin Daka lookman (maybe)

Bad rodgers signings: Vest Perez Benko betrand

Players improved under rodgers: Kels, cags, thomas, barnes, tielemens amartey

players who have got worse: Madders (maybe i'm not too sure i think its just a dip in form), Mendy (always was bad), choudary (never reached potential)

Mostly, rodgers has improved our squad and improved our players who were here already. Is he mr incredible who turns everything he touches to gold? no. But has he improved the squad yeah. He deserves time and support from us.

Benko defo not a Rodgers signing.

sorry i thought he was brought in after working with rodgers at celtic but maybe not. Also another point think about all the injuries we have had since febuary which destroyed our form. Justin, Ricardo, Evans, fofana, Ndidi, barnes, madders, perez, cags, castagne. All of them have spent significant time on the sidelines and a couple of key figures are still out. Think about that decimation of our backline and the constant chopping and changing throughout this time we have had to do. Hopefully now this rot of injuries has stopped we can regain some form

It’s mad really, that a player Sven signed, is still playing in the team.

Personally think he’s an upgrade on the options that were already here (Mendy/Choudhury) and better suited to our style of play, so for me has improved the squad.

Having said that, he needs to do more.

Choudhury is nowhere near the required level, sadly.

Whats also concerning is that a fair few of those points have been won purely down to Youri and/or Kel providing some magic out of nowhere.

We shouldn't be classing threat of relegation as the tipping point anymore, we've moved past that. If this squad is looking at a mid table finish, which based on basically the whole of 2021 is what we will see, then that isn't good enough.

This isn't being entitled, this is just using common sense and knowing that our squad is better than that.

Of course it’s far more than a temporary blip

We still see saw between games where we control and look very dangerous, to games where we get completely over-run

We remain a very Jekyll and Hyde side

Personally I think we have to concentrate mostly on the defensive side of our game. We’ll usually score but look VERY suspect defensively and have done most of this year

Of those six losses, five against the big six.

He signed permanently when Rodgers was manager, for the purpose of your question he is a Rodgers signing.

Yep. There's also a good chance our form (and Youri's) when Brendan arrived convinced him we were a good fit and got him over the line on a permo.

Crikey. That’s appalling.
