Our Bowling as never been poor, these last 30 years...In fact mostly World Class turnouts...

The batting as always been our weakest element..Collapse would be a Great name for a Bateman Coming in Anywhere from 1-5..I

Australia always find each Series 2-3 new names, who Hang around with Top W.Class Stats over many years.

White ball cricket is Not Really in any position, a problem, bowlers or batters, fielders....Roy/Butler/Malan..etc,etc...

Bit we find it difficult to find any 3-4 together that can deliver and translate in both white & red ball cricket....I

After Broad & Anderson retire, our  Red Ball Bowling Department has no Fire Crackers Knocking on the door...I

Archer & Wood...too many long predestined injuries...Robinson could hold his own. No consistent Spin Option on the Horizon..

We have now 3-8 generations of English- Asians,West Indians..which in itself probably confirms institutionialised /hidden sport racism/favouritism..A

I would of expected by Now to see regular a 5-6 Mixed spread of players from different national-ethnic-roots..

Jesus Christ, Leach. I know he's a tailender, but he can stick around and chip in with a few runs. That shot was utterly braindead.

He played a good shot and got cocky. Fatal.

To be fair, the problem isn't the tail.

The last 4 have out scored the top 4 by 41 runs.

Baistow played very well whilst in a lot of physical (and may be mental) pain. Maybe we should hurt the openers before they go out. Focus their minds a bit. Kick 'em in the shins.  Pope is keeping rematkably well btw.

I can't see this going much passed lunch tomorrow.

No scored board pressure on Australia, they will push this score on quickly and they give England a bat in the evening.

Can see us getting knocked over for around 140-160 in the second inns.

Credit where it's due, they've done well to survive at the end there. Still have very little hope that we can survive tomorrow but it's an opportunity to show some fight. Will Buttler, Stokes and Bairstow bat? Or attempt to.

Well we’ve made our highest opening partnership score of the series and Leach took some wickets ( actually on a hat trick !) so things looking up.

And we have got into day 5 where the weather might help us.

Well done to Ollie Pope too - good performance behind the stumps.

12 balls in and 3 have misbehaved. Even with the possibility of rain, this looks mission almost impossible for England to survive.

Just seen a stat saying this is the 3rd highest opening stand by England in the last 4 Ashes series. They are on 36 ffs lol
