I don't know much about Okonkwo, he found it very easy to keep Ward out the team given he played 39 of 46 games but thats not a solid baseline is it. Sounds like he's got appalling distribution which makes this signing peak Leicester given the manager we've now employed.

Maybe Russell has changed his philosophy and is about to make a "ladies and gentleman, we will be playing 4 4 fvcking 2" statement in his next interview. lol

Seems an odd one, I dont think hes good on the ball? Feels like a non negotiable for Russ ball

This is why it seems more realistic.

Is it common knowledge that Stolarczyk is off?

The keepers we're being linked with are either clearly not as good as him or it's at least a debate.

I feel like Jakub is a decent keeper. Maybe not as technically proficient as what Martin might want but we're also bring linked with keepers who don't fit that profile.

So, to me, it feels like the Bazunu link is the real one and if that doesn't happen then Jakub stays.

Dont want any goalkeeper thats got ‘the odd howler in him’. We’ve had plenty of those over the years. What we want is consistency. And when you bring a manager in who wants to play a certain style then you sign players that fit that style. A goalkeeper thats shite technically is not that style. It really isnt rocket science

Beggars can't be choosers.

Goalkeepers that don't have the odd howler in him simply do not exist at this level.

Very concerning how little seems to be going on, given the scale of the task we have this summer.

We wont get anyone in then we will get a couple of panic loans in on deadline day and start tye season with no striker again

Saw somewhere that we could be interested in Louie Barry.

Would be a really good signing.

It's the same old thing, ain't it!

Probably still need to sell a fair few, before we can be seen to get some in.

Here's hoping we can shift Kristiansen, Coulibaly, Faes, Okoli, Mavididi and Winks, pretty damn quick.

I fear we may struggle in the market

Sorry how does that stop us from offloading players? We either can't afford to keep most of them, or we need to sell to sign new players. Getting these players out of the door isn't manager-dependent. Also, I thought the whole point of us hiring continuity budget Pep-ball coaches is that we could sign players to play in a system, not for a specific coach - so again, why does that need a manager in place?

Jakub was a calamity. Certainly wasn't Championship standard as was proven last season and I would even say League 1 level is stretching it. Too prone to a regular mistake putting us on the back foot. We need better.

We also rely on clubs, that have to be above us to afford their wages, to get so far down their list of targets they’re prepared to sign players with multiple relegations on their CVs.

He wasn't that bad. A solid shot stopper and serviceable for the championship at least.

We do need a better No1 though

Yes i agree we probably need a better no 1 but Jacub is good enough, definitely not a priority
