Sargent’s goals-per-game ratio in the Championship last season was basically identical to that of Szmodics.

Good lord, I'd honestly rather have Ayew than Sargent. Absolutely stunk up the top flight last time with Norwich, one of the worst forwards I've ever seen at that level. And this was with a side that had blessed us with Van Wolfswinkel a few years earlier, so he had quite a low bar to limbo beneath.

 

Even if he's improved his game, it's a pass from me.
