The 26-year-old is said to have completed the first part of his medical on Saturday. (Fabrizio Romano, external) Pretty sure we were tentatively linked at some point but going Ipswich according to Fab. No better than the what we have. 2

Support the US for years and he was in the same youth camps as Pulisic. Powerful and strong, can play off the right wing (has done so internationally). He would also give us a different option up top. I would take him - but not for more than 12mil (have a feeling Coventry would try and charge more). Would say he's a similar profile to Liam Delap, so not 100% why Ipswich are in for him....

moore_94 Posted 5 January 2025 Posted 5 January 2025 Brassier is someone I wanted us to look at last January Left footed centre back who can also play left back At the time he would've been perfect at left back of Enzo's system 2

That’s quite worrying especially if we are looking to improve our worst position with a player who’s struggling in the French league.

Let's face it, that's where we are. We're going to have to hope and pray a couple of punts pay off. We probably aren't getting a guaranteed, oven ready (sorry) player at our budget and in our league position. Thank God we have Rudkin conducting the orchestra.

He featured quite heavily for the Brest side that finished 3rd last year. He was linked with a lot of clubs before going to Marseille, so I think the issue is more likely that he won't come here rather than not being good enough.

JimJams Posted 5 January 2025 Posted 5 January 2025 If we let him go on loan we should give him to Sheffield Utd to replace the injured Souttar. If they get promoted and he is a regular they'd buy him. And if not we get to see his champ credentials. 1

It’s embarrassing isn’t it, Okoli off after 6 months, Skipp is a top half Champ player…£35-£40m just wasted…that money needed to be spent on guaranteed starters

We’ll get a minimal loan fee with a percentage of his wages covered along with an option to buy that they’ll never activate…. Not our first fisting and won’t be our last from an Italian team 1

Not our first fisting and won’t be our last from an Italian team No point getting mad at Italian teams for screwing us over. It's our fault for overpaying for players, if we buy at market value then we can sell easier. Italian clubs were looking to pay half of what we paid to Atalanta but we came in with a massive wad of cash to seal the deal. It's no surprise that 6 months later they dont want to play double what they were before after going out of favour here.
