I'm assuming finances and the difficulties of the winter window, not to mention our unattractive position at the moment,  will limit the number & quality of purchases we can make. But if we could manage a few, clearly we are short of a quality RB, CB and forward too.

 

It's a shame we haven't felt able to give our youth more of a showing.  If either of Alves, Cartwright, Evans, even Monga, and any others I'm unaware of, could step up that would help and would be forward-looking to next season too (especially if we end up Championship), but I guess that's too much to hope for.

How can it be possible that after spending £25m, just four months ago on a defensive midfielder, to add to the three we already had, one of or most pressing needs this January is a defensive midfielder?

CM is probs our strongest part of the pitch would be a disastrous waste of resource to strengthen that part of the 11. Just fix the defence and wing and maybe striker.

Isn't that good, essentially another Skipp, and in the position we need probably the least. I'd say it was bollocks but it's come from a fairly decent source there has it not?

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we were in for him if Mads is out longer. He's a fail safe in that hes consistently been one of, if not the best championship GK for a few seasons. Can play as a challenging 2. Probably subject to Ward ****ing off and Iversen perhaps going the other way.

They love him though and he’s a good keeper.
