Our fans moan about us signing deadwood players or already having them in the squad and then being unable to get rid of them.

 

This is a picture book example of that. If, and god forbid, we sign Winks, we're going to be stuck with a traffic cone wearing our shirt. He's worse than useless, he got outclassed in the blimming groupstages of the UECL by teams nobody ever heard of before. I'd rather we keep Hamza around if it means this pillock doesn't come anywhere close to Seagrave.

Don't pay attention to whatever that Josh Wilson bloke says. He's already deleted tweets of his that have turned out to be wrong and now his "exclusive" Bourigeaud "scoop" (that he stole from Owynn and rehashed as his own) has been disproved by Tanner.

I find it depressingly cringy that these people are so desperate for clout from bored supporters on football Twitter that they'll just spout any old shit claiming credibility for a bit of attention.

This 'bloated squad' theory, isn't actually correct though, is it? We have 27 senior players. Bearing in mind the ideal is 24-25 players, hardly that concerning.

But not a real concern. If it was my job to trim the squad by just two, net, during the transfer window I wouldn't be losing sleep. Unlike my concerns in my current job, in the real world

So that would be two players being paid to train. Regardless of who they were, we would probably be looking at paying over 100k a wee for players not even registered in the squad.
