mozartfox Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 Joke. Any one in recruitment that sanctions this, needs to be assessed for some serious health conditions.
HankMarvin Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 Would rather we didn’t sign anyone than to see a dross signing unveiled 4
Nalis Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 Feel bad slating him as I know people who have met him and say he's actually a top bloke who does loads for charity and the fans. But he would be a limited player for us so no thank you.
Popular Post Staff Posted 7 July 2022 Popular Post Posted 7 July 2022 If we signed him he at least wouldn't get picked for England 1 7

JayTheFox Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 As someone said, it’s very possible. Rodgers signed Joe Allen for Liverpool and Winks is a similar type of player. 1
supernuk Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 His stats are appalling. No assists, no goals, defensively not the best. No thanks 1
Clarkey123 Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 Don’t scare me like that at this time in the morning

Flannel_Fox Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 If we let Mendy, Tielemans, Soumare, Praet & Hamza all leave this window we could do worse than gettibg Winks in (low fee & wages mind). Can see him as an alternative to Mendy more than anything. A decent back up option
TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 A few years ago Winks was instrumental in getting spurs to Champs League final and he bossed Real Madrid midfield both home and away. However, more recently he seems to have lost his way and his confidence seems to be at an all time low. He's now getting outplayed against unheard of conference league teams. Think he needs a fresh start at a new club as he seems to be scapegoated by their fans. Pair him with the right defensive midfielder and he may be a decent option. Our club has been built on finding or picking up players that have lost their way at other clubs that people have written off. Yet we are all so fast to write them off before he's even actually what we are after, signed or kicked a ball. Having said that and with the 'summer rebuild' not exactly going well I like many would be worried if this is our tielemans replacement. He comes across as an Everton signing so in my opinion I'd stay clear.

Shit_arse Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 young, English, and obviously talented - been messed about at Spurs with all the different managers over the last few year. Worth the risk I think - not dissimilar to where Tielemans was when we took him from Monaco
