Not sure they make them stronger in the short term, think they could struggle.

Brentford are very well run, they'll be fine even without Eriksen. Palace have impressed me particularly with their transfers, they've adopted our model well.

Without Eriksen they would have been in big trouble, the four games he missed they took 1 point.

The 10 game before his first start they lost 8, draw 1 and won 1.

Between match day 8 and his first game match day 27, lost 14, draw 3, won 3.

Without him they would have been in big trouble.

They reminded me of us in our first season back. They were playing well but not getting the results they deserved until Eriksen gave them that extra bit of quality.

Now they haven't got that.

Second season can be a lot harder as Leeds and Sheff U found out.

Spurs will be testing the water regarding Maddison within the next few days.

Just can't see him leaving even if they make a decent offer.

Reckon they will make an official bid?

The rumours are that we have lowered our valuation on him. They enquired a while back but the price was too much for them.

wow really? might sound stupid but why would we drop his valuation?

Arguably our most valuable asset along side Fofana. do we need to raise funds that bad we would consider selling madders.

We're skint I guess. If he goes we're fooked tho.

Agree, valuation should have increased, not dropped.

There is a case for selling if it would bring in a number of reinforcements, but certainly only for a value that reflects his worth to us, if not more.

This is extremely grim news if true. So desperate to offload one of our best players that we're dropping the price :nono:

He might not want to sign a contract extension. So it’s sell now or be in another Tielemans situation.

If he goes, we're genuinely in trouble this season. Absolutely no reason to sell him unless he's desperate to leave - even if his fee funded Colwill & other players the squad would still be significantly weaker without him.

We aren’t, we just NEED to get the players who come in correct.
