coolhandfox Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 As a third-choice experienced pro to support Iversen and Ward he would do a job Done it, seen it got the T-Shirts. 1
WestLothianFox Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 I think I would rather see one of the best of the young keepers that we have given the 3 keeper place, they wouldn't be taking up a place in the 25 man squad, also no additional wages. Isn't Brad Young supposed to be highly rated?

Having an old head with 389 PL apps around to advise and say 'Don't worry, I've been through this and this is what I did to sort it' would be very beneficial in my view. Replacing a club legend is a daunting task, they are going to need all the support they can get. Edited 3 August 2022 by coolhandfox

Considering the situation we're in we can be putting 2-3 mil in wages towards a 3rd choice goal keeper.

Old Fox Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 Good back up and was excellent last season….be a good signing imo

He will want similar to what he was on at Watford which was 1.5mil according to @coolhandfox. The article linking to him also states that he would want to compete for minutes here which implies that if he comes here he would see himself as a second choice goalkeeper rather than the 3rd choice goalkeeper we need and would therefore ask for equivalent wages.
alanf0x Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 Foster would be great back up, but at present isn’t fussed about playing. Happy enjoying his life and being out on his bike
glebe_sydneyfox Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 If we sign a keeper this window after the amount of bullshit we've had to trawl through on here and in the media, without addressing central defender, midfield or right wing. For Fuchs Sake. Give it to Iverson. 1
Lambert09 Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 Not against foster at all. Would make a lot of sense on so many levels. The only problem, is that if our current keepers have howlers, it will make replacing them a little harder as who’s going to be budging
PAPA LAZAROU Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 Sorry can't help thinking is this what we have come to? Foster really?

If he'd come in to replace Eldin and Kasper was still here no one would bat an eyelid. 3rd choice keepers in the Premier League are often very random. Heaton at United, 97 year old Scott Carson at Man City. They serve a purpose in training, and if required for one game a season, will do a job. 5

Hamilton Fox Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 Does this mean I get to see Ben Foster wasting my time every week instead of just once a season?
Ric Flair Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 Sergio Romero on a free would be much better and I genuinely think he'd get in over Ward and Iversen 😂 2

JimJams Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 (edited) Will that have an effect on pursuit of Wes? In terms of finances. Edited 3 August 2022 by JimJams
kingkisnorbo Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 Lumbering this team and wage bill with a part time YouTuber is such a Leicester thing. 2 1

Kasper was on something like 150k. I’d be fine with him coming to be a 3rd choice backup, but not if he is going to play ahead of the likes of Iversen. It’s make or break time for Iversen at Leicester now I suspect. 1
