We actually defended really well especially Cags who seems to have got his mojo back. KDH MOTH OK?

It's coincided with getting a number of players back from injury....

If playing a 3 man midfield then yes. Where his performances badly suffered last season was when he was played in a double pivot with Youri and Madders as a 10, or as a solo DM

So great to see KDH becoming a midfield boss. He's combative, but has a good ball skills and an eye for a pass. He gets better with every game and was MOM for me. Fantastic pass and the goal was more than equal to it.

 

Harsh on Kasper to concede after saving 2 pens. Zaha as usual one of the easiest players to dislike in the league.


Thought Palace played the ball around ok for about 15 minutes in the second half but other than that weren't great really.

 

Really good to see how much better and more aggressive we are being in general though. Getting key players back from injury helps massively but it's also so obvious that we were really lacking in confidence through that bad patch. The defensive issues really just permeated everything we did. This looks like a different group of players for the most part.

The team has been playing well now the injuries seem to have settled down ,imo we have a great squad and a strong one ,don't forget we have 2 or 3 games in hand over some teams

KDH is progressing faster than any player iv ever seen.

 

Our press today was relentless especially first half.

Players coming back fit, games in hand, favourable run in. A reversal of our form during the run in last two seasons and who knows? No pressure - nothing to lose, everything to gain! Oh for those 3 points we hemorrhaged against Spurs and the points VAR robbed us of against Brighton and West Ham!

Mendy and KDH were excellent today. Good to play Cags and Amartey as they have performed well of late and good to keep them active. Likewise luke. Loved his battle with Ayew. Lookman looked lively and bright and he helps out in tackling back. Maddison also has upped his work rate again. Amazing what a bit of competition does to a team.
 

Daka still looks a bit lost. Needs a good office party with the lads when we win in Albania.

Everyone played well really. Not Thomas' best game but thought the whole team played really well overall. Zaha missed 2 penalties and his celebration was really funny in a cringe kind of way. 

 

Justin cags and Dan looked pretty solid imo, solid I'm midfield too. 2 extremely well taken goals. 

 

Also, if you're gonna queue for the toilets. If you've picked a queue that's slow moving, that's your fault, you can't just move inbetween 2 ques to jump to go to whichever is free first. It's just bad manners. Especially to put your hands on the kid you decided you were infront of.

Solid performance 

Was particularly impressed with how we shut them off straight after they scored.

They looked like coming good then and we just nullified them

Not good for me cos I’d gone on the draw, but we did that well

yes .....wilf has had a poor season by his standards. ...with fofana defending aggressively mendy is a better option at present to pick up loose balls and get us going forward...

Tielemans was our worst player today.

 

He has been average at best recently.
