Isn't Rodgers to blaim for the quality of the squad. The majority of his signings have been poor

Holy shit Batman!!

Our B team comfortably fcuked by spurs who still have something to play for in the league.

More annoyed by Everton winning to be honest:whistle:

Doesn’t matter if it’s a B team, it’s the fact that there appears to be no development whatsoever in the defensive department. Even playing long ball would be a step up from doing what we do every game for the last few years.

No idea what planet you are on mate. Maybe you missed my 'move on' bit. I know there are people that like to whinge no matter what but we effectively fielded a b team after playing on Thursday night. I would love to have our first 11 going full pelt against spurs, but if we take Rome seriously we can't do that.

And actually, Soumare was pretty decent, we did hit the post and should have had a penalty, so no idea why you should complain about that.

The thing is we need to be able to compete with a decent team Thursday and Sunday. What's the point of winning on Thursday, so we can go on to win a place in next year's Europa League so we can.......wait for it......field a weakened team in the league, or field a weakened team in Europe? I don't want another juggling act season. If we are serious about Europe, then we need to strengthen to an extent, where we aren't weakened by whoever we field. We need that position to compete with this five subs. rule in any event.

I will be frustrated if we aren't at full strength against Everton regardless of what happens on Thursday.

I think the score flattered them a bit but no doubt it was the right result.

On the plus side Soumare looked better, Brunt got his league debut and Vardy got 25 minutes.

You are right those were plus points and good to point them out. Thought Daka never let his head go down either and Perez put a shift in. I just don’t like spurs and don’t like losing to them by that score line.
Reality is we had nothing to lose by getting the ball forward quicker and giving it a right good go in that second half.

Frustration over and move on to Thursday night.

The squad isn't good enough because he's signed crap like Vestegaard, Bertrand and Perez. Soumare I'm still 50/50 on.

We're spending hundreds of thousands a week on his signings who are now being deemed not good enough, but they've still got years left on their contracts!

Spot on

If they'd dropped romero, dier, hojberg, kane, kulusevski, son and bentancur it might have been a worthwhile fixture.

The club should reimburse anyone who travelled. We threw the game.

A second team that doesn’t care is not very good for the squad. They should be trying to show they’re not the second team and giving Rodgers headaches for who starts.

He’s a good manager, he’s probably the best we can get but aye, I just can’t like him, he’s got no personality.

It’s hard to watch Albrighton play nowadays.

You know what you'll get from Honest Kevin...

Unfortunately, sans the possibility of Vards occasionally getting at the end of a cross, his talent is more suited for Burnley.

Lose or  even win against Roma and Everton must be licking their lips at the thought of actually winning away from home next Sunday. Flat and deflating end to the season or save your first choice players for a European Final.

Several of the "second team" players acquitted themselves quite well...

We just somehow did not jell as a TEAM, and the sloppy goals changed the dynamics.

Personally, I have already moved on from this EPL season...

Hoping for European glory, a good summer transfer-wise, and onto next season!

Most fans of other teams would say that Leicester were the best side to watch from a neutral point of view, a couple of seasons ago.

I think we're the opposite now.

I think we have a heightened opinion of that. When we beat Spurs at their place last season, we stuck 11 behind the ball and got two goals on the counter attack.

Gonna be genius from Rodgers when we conspire to lose to Everton, so Leeds go down and we can sign Raphinha on the cheap to solve the long standing RW problem we’ve had. Followed by the title next season.

Playing the long game…

He did but only for a part of the game. Its almost as if it's impossible for him to deliver the same quality over 90 minutes. His decision making just seems to fade once we're on the backfoot.

Anyone saying the players didn’t try etc. They did. The reality is they aren’t good enough for a performance at Spurs away. That starting eleven would be about 17th.

Don’t try and overthink it. The back up bunch aren’t good enough

I said 4-1 them before the game with a Hatty for Kane so I’m the winner here really because neither of those things happened. Happy days.
