Sorry I don't feel sorry for this ****. He is stealing a living and can not even catch a football. I am sure he went home to a nice mansion and thought nothing of his poor performance.

Absolutely - He's a fuching charlatan and been allowed to be so by people who are complete and utterly incompetent.

He should be completely ashamed of what he did yesterday as a professional footballer but I just don't see that level of responsibility in him.

When he was almost as equally shite at Brighton in the relegation season what did he do? Start attacking some of the other players most notably Wilf.

Pay him up and get rid

Don't worry, he supports the Scotch, he's just envious of our myriad depth

I mean, it's a tough call between the decaying corpse of Craig Gordon, and Danny Ward.

Are we possibly close to Danny refusing to play?

There's absolutely zero chance he stays mince pie and alcohol free over the next few days anyway, I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn up wasted.

Worse thing about it is, there's absolutely no professional pride there.

He should have a point to prove. He should be sharp. He should be trying to change people's opinion of him.

There's none of that. He's just given up.

Yes, there's something in there which is quite sickening to watch

To be this crap for such a long period of time there is a total lack of professional pride there

I know it shouldn't be personal but there's quite clearly something wrong with him

I fear Ward will still be in goal boxing day.

He's 100% in goal. Stolarczyk clearly isn't fit enough (even though he is for the U21s) and seems like Mads isn't ready.

He's not going to put in Iversen for the same philosophical reasons as Enzo, and Rodgers for that matter, but even so Iversen passing it to Salah for 90 minutes isn't ideal either.

Reckon any of the outfield players yesterday would've had better spacial awareness and movement than he did.

What I don't get is the clubs stance on it all.

Player tells you he won't leave because his wages won't be matched anywhere else. Tell him he will rot and ruin (what's left of) his career then.

Give him something to think about. Okay accept your 40k or whatever but let him know it's going to cost him any kind of move after because he'll be playing with u21s for years.

As it stands he's a no.2 for a Premier League club that gets called upon as and when and collects a lovely wage for it. Another example of how clueless everyone at the club is.

Exactly this, but I’d go 1 step further and stop him even training with us. You don’t want to move well we’ll see if any club will take you on after you’ve quite literally been sat at home for 2 years.
If we were a proper club though we’d have sold him to wolves when they apparently had interest for 8m, instead we gave him a 50k a week, 4 year extension for playing the early rounds of the league and Fa cup. Who ever signed that off wants shooting

Danny Fvcking Fraud.

Our squad has it's problems, of which even if we did fix 99 of them and with him as the final issue, we'd still get relegated.

A pathetic excuse of a professional footballer

What's Rab Douglas up to these days is he still alive?

Disappointing to see from a few in the media that the biggest issue with Ward yesterday is that he was booed and not that he was actually being played again after the relegation season

If you cant get in an championship team what chance being considered good enough for premier league.

The ahead of him then are now injured :dunno:  This isn't some rite of passage for Ward to become out number 1 again. It's a gigantic fu** up for sure, but let's not pretend Ruud actually wants this.

First goal is on Vestegaard - doesn’t attack the ball and lets it run through.

Second goal is on JJ - you don’t let that ball run across you when you are on the edge of your own box.

Third goal the defending is poor again but Ward should definitely do better with the save.

I don’t rate Ward but the pile on against him is a joke. None of the back 4 are good enough and offer little protection, Ayew’s performance was a disgrace yesterday and none of them are getting anywhere near the same criticism.
