Waste of space.

Anyone know what we've paid out on the wsl team so far? There's no accountability on any funds paid out including belvoir drive itself.

We went too soon for WSL promotion and the club, at a time when the main team is and has been in a dire state for ages, go and spuff money on this sqaud for 2 years now without a care in the world.

I doubt we've spent that much on the side tbh. Most of them are wannabe's and never-beens, free transfers and cast-offs. Belvoir was already being paid for anyway it's not a new outlay and probably cheaper than renting an alternative ground which we no longer do. If they're looking for the women's team to be self-sustainable like theyre attempting with the men's side then there's a hell of a long way to go. Without a surprise or two against the bigger sides and doing the double over Brighton & Reading, we're nailed on to be bottom. Pike, O.Brien and (forever injured) Hannah Cain aside we're player for player the worst side in the WSL.

Our goalkeeper has a big article on the LCFC site prior to the Everton game. She mentions what must be done to improve our results. She then proceeds to punch the ball into own net in the dying minutes. How stupid can you be.

....the scarey thing is, that in the next game she will do the same again!!!

It is as if they have not grown up watching the men's game or any kind of professional football. She has left her line, not knowing what is behind her and looking to clear the danger, You can understand her decision, but that ball needs to be palmed out for a corner, any attempt to punch means the ball can go anywhere. That goal was so bad, she would have found it hard to be up in front of the beak, having been accused of match-fixing.

In the previous game, she almost pushed a free kick into her own goal, only being saved by the ball hitting the post. I do not know what they do in training, they appear to be mirroring the men's and the players are starting to look beaten, we brought new players in and have replaced like for like, how is that going to push us forward?

She’s no better

....true, the thing is she is not as bad, but still poor!!!

I saw a Keeper last season in one of our earlier games and I cannot recall her name or her team. She seemed overweight and not very athletic, but she was very good positionally and claimed everything in the air, I believe it was a game in which we scored a goal, so that should narrow it down a bit.

Most of the team are decent enough players, I reckon.

BUT - there is NO pace anywhere in the team, there is zero goalscoring threat, and when you add in a goalie who will pretty much hand the opposition at least one goal most matches, it's hardly a recipe for success.

I can hardly begin to imagine how pissed off the defence and midfield must have been to see her chuck that one in her own net last night, coz they'd done a cracking job (within the limitations outlined above).

We do not want to see her between the sticks for the rest of the season, even if we have to use the 16-year-old

I wouldn't want to stick a 16 year old in goal behind this team in this league, they'll just be getting bombarded all the time and it could destroy them.

Don't worry.

After all, if any team is equipped to handle Arsenal - with their abundance of pace all over the pitch, their goalscoring threat from everywhere, their quickness of thought and their well-organised defence - it's Leicester...

Are there any funding rules for the WSL, I presume it's not coupled with the men's FFP and also there is no FFP for the Women but is there a limit of any kind or can the SuperLeague6 clubs simply out spend the others like they do in the Men's game even with it's FFP?

...surprised to see you have included Molly Pike in your list, a player who runs around a lot, has no contact with the ball and is extremely weak in the centre of midfield!!!

If there is any position where we need to be robust, then that would be it, but she brings nothing to the table. Switching Tierney or even Plumptre into the central role would give us more physicality  and they are better going forward on the ball.

Leicester have scored a goal.  The world's gone mad.

Technically they did on Thursday, just not for LCFC

And Reading are losing.
