Went to this game. Shouldn't have been 4-0, we looked quite resolute especially in the first half but we just collapsed and the obvious gap in quality showed. Man City have some really excellent players.

We had a few nice moments but just couldn't string any of the together really. Shame we couldn't grab a consolation or at least keep it down to 1-0.

Do you think it's a fitness issue? They seem to fade quite badly as the game goes on.

Yeah quite possibly.

Although it was just obvious from the first minute that the players on each team just moved differently as individuals.

Aside from the obvious ability and passing triangles and nice little touches, the Man City players were constantly scanning (especially Hasegawa in the middle). The Leicester players were just at an inferior level but, by and large, were actually quite organised. But once the second goal went in, we folded.

....Levell is just a version of Danny Ward!!!

Every shot on target beats her, I watched a bit of the game today, playing with one upfront is a thankless task for our striker, she gets little support and they do not press all at once, there is always an out ball to beat the press.

They still do the same thing where they go to challenge an opponent with the ball, but contrived to run past them and attempts to challenge from the side, no longer being goalside. It happens all the time, we should have cut it out by now.

Everyone is quicker than them, stronger and understand the basics.

We still looked like a bunch of school girls,  Man. City always  plays like this, they wear you down,  good movement and a believe in what they are doing.

I think it's a tad unfair to call out Levell in this game. There was nothing she could've done about the first and fourth goals. I'll have to watch the second one again as to whether she should've claimed the cross. And for the third goal she saved a pen but unfortunately the taker was able to get to the rebound before she was. She made a couple of decent saves too.

I don't watch them regularly so I've no idea if she's generally of the required standard or not, but I don't think she was at fault much yesterday.

Not blaming her for yesterday but Levell looks a bit on the small side to play GK, even for a woman. Anything remotely well struck to either corner usually goes in.

....she is very poor, there is a 17-year-old that plays for her age group for England, that should come in, she is taller and a better keeper, funny enough her name is Poor!!!

I know you do not watch them too often but if you saw the game before where she punched the ball into her own goal where in the last seconds when we were about to pick up our first point this season, it was unreal. The game before she tried to turn a free kick away and nearly threw the ball into her own net, lucky it hit the post.

finished 1-0 not a disaster but they really need a run of games against the likes of Brighton, Reading and Liverpool so they can try and get some momentum

Nearly November and none of our players have scored a league goal yet. Who is going to be the first? And when?

The keeper scored one.

In her own net, but still lol

Thought we were unlucky to lose this yesterday. A draw would have been a much fairer result.

We are sadly missing a striker.

Natasha Flint just seems to be such a lazy player. She never seems to put any effort in and doesn't like to tackle anyone. So says my wife!

Attack wise we are not to bad just need to sort out our leaky defence.

.. we won 3 - 0 in the cup!!!

Any team we come up against, looks  better drilled and stronger and fitter. We cannot keep bringing in like for like players and still be as ponderous as we have been.

Time to look at a way of getting the best out of this squad and we need some hunger around scoring goals, as we never see to get the opportunity, playing with just one upfront.

I would definitely move Tierney and Plumptre into the midfield,  they are good with the ball at their feet and robust enough to not be pushed around. They are both very positive and always looking forward.

... Flint for her physique is too easily taken off the ball, and strolls around not closing down or giving the team much support in holding up the ball!!!

Would like to see some live wire like Goodwin upfront and another playing in a 4-4-2,  we are desperate for some pace in this team.
