The difference between us and Villa is that they took their chances. The early penalty was a set back but we worked our way into the game. The problem we have is that in the final third we are lacking someone who will take the chances.

I am surprised we got no striker in the summer, as we struggled their last season as well.  The women's team I guess are also suffering from the KP problems.

Frank and I tried to warn you when they changed that lovely golf course into a training ground.

Revenge of the newts    !

Get them on Viccy park in the pouring rain then we will see who wants to be a premiership footyist

...we do not create chances, and continue to play with one upfront,  being marshalled by 3 CBs!!!

We need  pace and need two upfront.

I would like to see them change the way they train, I would put them up against under 18s boys and play on half a pitch, from touchline to touchline. They need to think quicker and look to move their game on and learn ti be more robust. If you can't beat them then find a way to slow them down or take up different positions, like dropping off a player, their minds need to work much quicker and it may improve their conditioning.

I know its not the only problem in the team, but we do need to be more clinical.

You can park at the ground, it’s £5 but has to be booked online beforehand on lcfc.com. Otherwise park at the local hero just up the road and put your reg in on the iPad at the end of the bar for 4 hours free parking. You’re expected to by a drink for a couple of quid, I get my kids a bottle of coke to take in.

Thanks so much! 👍 Just booked online for the Man U match but will also bare the pub in mind for others as well

Thank you

hadn't realised the Everton was tomorrow 18:30 ko

Can't see it being shown on the BBC or Sky. Anyone know if it's on TV anywhere, or iPlayer or something ?

Looks like it could be on FA Player

Nice one, cheers

I honestly forgot about the FA Player with the increased number of adverts for the games on BBC and Sky.

Got it thanks!
Streaming it to TV 👍

Expected more from Everton.

If we had a bit more pace or nous in the final third we'd be ahead.

....it is glaringly obvious, pace in the women's game is such a big game changer!!!

Get an athlete, or a sprinter and train them to do the basics and let them play wing or upfront. It will be easier to teach them to play football than train them to run faster. None of them have the pace to beat a man and get away.

3 wasted soft long distant shots when they could have go much close to the goal. They don’t seem to have the power to shoot from that distance.

....our forward (O'Brien)  has a thankless task, she hasn't the speed to close anyone down or the natural instinct to gamble on where the defender's pass will be going next!!!

We still overrun the ball, we go to close a player down, and instead of staying goal-side we run past them and try to tackle from the side, all very powder puff. They struggle to do the basics.
